The National Investment Promotion Agency (ANAPI) has sensitized women entrepreneurs to the need to leave the informal for the formal and to pay taxes regularly.

Under the chairmanship of Mr Robert MOUSTAFA, acting Managing Director of ANAPI, a workshop on the validation of reforms carried out in the country was held on Wednesday, May 24th, 2017 at the headquarters of ANAPI, which will be communicated to the World Bank for inclusion in the Doing Business 2018 Report.

Japan’s assistance to the private sector in Africa via the African Development Bank is increased to 1.5 billion Usd
The Japanese government and the African Development Bank have signed a new agreement of 300 million Usd to support a current assistance whose purpose is to strengthen the private sector in Africa. This new funding brings the Japan commitment to 1.5 billion Usd beside ADB as part of that programme.
Burey Gold expands in Kilo-Moto greenstone belt
Mining company Burey Gold inked an agreement with Emirati firm Medidoc FZE to buy a 60% onterest in Tendao project which comprises five exploration licences covering a total of 1,456 km², in North-Western part of DR Congo. The deal will help the firm reinforce its presence (more than 2,000 km²) in the Kilo-Moto greenstone belt where it already operates the Giro project.
